Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

CricLive ("the app") is published by CricLive, Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. In this policy "we" and "us" mean that company.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location.

We do not run analytics or advertising software inside the app, so we do not build any profile of you or track you across apps or websites.

Our server does keep ordinary web-server logs — see section 4 for exactly what those contain and how long we keep them.

3. What is stored on your phone

The app saves a small amount of information in your device's own storage so that it works the way you left it. This never leaves your phone and is not visible to us:

You can delete all of this at any time: open Settings → Clear saved data, or simply uninstall the app.

4. Our server, and services the app connects to

Scores, scorecards, series, rankings and records are fetched from our own server at cricliveline.com. That server collects the cricket data once and serves it to everyone, so your phone never contacts the cricket data provider directly.

Like any website, our server writes a standard access log for each request: the IP address, the time, which page was requested, and the app or browser version. We use these logs only to keep the service running and to stop abuse. They are not linked to any identity, not used for advertising, never sold, and are deleted within 30 days.

Two features still connect straight from your phone, because they are not cricket data:

When your device makes those two requests, those services receive standard technical information — including your device's IP address — as happens with any internet request. We do not send them any personal information about you.

Cricket data reaching our server comes from CricketData.org. Our server contacts them; your phone does not.

Tapping a news headline opens the full article in your browser on that publisher's own website, where their privacy policy applies.

5. Location

The app does not use your device's location and does not ask for location permission. Weather is looked up from the name of the cricket ground shown in the match — not from where you are.

6. Notifications

If you set a reminder for a match, your phone schedules that alert on the device itself. There is no notification server, and we are not told which matches you follow. You can turn notifications off any time in your phone's settings.

7. Children

CricLive is a general-audience sports app. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no personal information at all, no such data can be gathered through the app.

8. Data security

All connections between the app and our server use encrypted HTTPS. Your preferences stay on your own device, and our server holds no account, profile or contact details for anyone — the only record of a visit is the short-lived access log described in section 4.

9. Your rights

We hold no account or profile about you, so there is nothing for us to export or correct. The information saved on your device is fully under your control — clear it from Settings → Clear saved data or by uninstalling the app. If you want the access-log entries from your IP address removed sooner than the 30-day deletion, write to us and we will do it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we add features that change how information is handled — for example, optional sign-in or advertising — we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above before those features go live.
